Many of our clients don’t realize that deck railings don’t have to match the wood or composite decking material being used.  In fact, there are multiple options for railings that can add distinction and make maintenance easier too.

Generally speaking, railings come in four different materials – wood, composite, PVC or vinyl, and aluminum.  One of our most popular options is to put aluminum balusters on wood rails.  (The baluster is the upright support of the handrail.)  Balusters come in different shapes to suit a variety of design styles such as Classic, Colonial, Architectural, Estate or Traditional.
